Anyone who has experienced sexual abuse or assault in New Zealand can access this service. ACC may also assist New Zealand residents who were overseas when the event occurred.
There is no cost to clients as sensitive claims services are fully funded by ACC.
Protecting privacy is extremely important. We all keep personal information private and safe. Only the necessary people involved in the service will have access to client information.
When you’re ready to start therapy, you can contact at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 03 3584447 and leave a message.
We will respond to your voicemail or email within the same business day (if received within business hours). In your message you can include your first name, contact details, location and any preferences you have for a therapist e.g. gender/cultural preferences. We will reply as soon as possible with options. Once we connect you with the most suitable therapist who has space, they will start the process of lodging the claim during your first appointment.
